Iím hoping itís defensive line as we havenít had a great pass rush in at least 6 years.

I also think our secondary could be pretty good as well.

One thing we need to do is drastically improve our turnover margin as a team.

Defensive line. I see 3 deep of quality linemen, even counting Buck as a DE. Inside, I see Kinlaw, Smith, Sandidge, Ellis, D Davis, Pickens in training with Kier Thomas as a swing man. At DE I see Enagbare, Sterling, and Anderson in training with Tyreek Johnson perhaps another swing man. At Buck, Wonnum and Brad Johnson are ready with a hopefully improved Fennell swinging between buck and LB and Fitten in training.

With our depth we should have plenty of fresh bodies and be able to get into the backfield or disrupt the pocket often. Don’t always need a sack but if we can throw off the rhythm of the QB or disrupt a running play it’s almost as good.

One would like to think Quarterback, but will believe it when I see it. Speaking of that, Muschamp finally has another option if there’s any struggling. Dline should be the most improved position otherwise, finally have some decent talent and depth there now.

A good d line makes every level of the defense better.

DLine will be much improved but I think WR will be the overall best position group. We could have two 1,000 yard receivers in Edwards and Shi. A healthy Ortre gives another big/tall receiver who can go up and get the ball. Josh Vann I think is ready to take a big step in the slot. Even with the loss of Deebo, I love the balance we have.

I think a case could be made for QB, WR, and DB, though I feel most certain about DL. I remember this time last season reading often how "stacked" we were at running back; now the bulk of the board seems to think they're a bunch of bums. Amazing how a season of actually playing games can turn the most solid of opinions around.

    DL or DB.
Also put K/P in that category.

A number two would be WR...lots of potential.

I think OL should be good. RB I think will be servicable...as will be TE.

The weakest/biggest liability groups...LB and QB.
LB just because it is virtually the same group...and QB, because it will be Jake Bentley...great when he is on....unwatchable when he is off.

I only saw one player listed at LT on the depth chart. Is that accurate?

I think so House. We’ve taken a lot more Gs than Ts during Champ’s tenure. Moore has the frame to play T but I think played G during HS.

    QB
Bentley has the most experience of any SEC QB. I believe he will shine with great season and have the best Gamecock QB season ever. Chance for Heisman if everything comes together!

Plus 2 very talented young QBs on the bench.

I sure hope it is our defensive line and their depth.

After this group, I believe it is our receivers - including our tight ends.

Is his knee now 100%? Haven’t heard much on his prognosis since his surgery. He’d be a big piece of the puzzle if he’s healthy.

I think the recovery took longer than expected (it’s an odd injury having a kneecap that’s too small) but he should be ready to go for fall camp.
