Default Ranking SEC schedules in order of toughness

    It just means more.
In the SEC, every weekend matters and there's always the threat of a loss ó or several ó detonating a potentially special season.

I can't imagine anyone in the country has a tougher schedule than we do...at this point...according to most 'pre-season' polls...we play 1, 2, 3, 8 and 11...plus the rest of the SEC and trouble bombs like App State.

Hopefully we can win 2 or 3 of these and beat the rest but its a heavy load for sure.

Yeah, We have one of the toughest schedules that I have seen any football team have in a decade. Someone correct me if I am missing something, but its brutal.

aTm’s schedule is almost exactly like ours except they play in the SECW.

They play Lamar, Texas State, and UTSA...I’d give App State, UNC, and CSU the nod slightly.

they do travel to Clemson while we have them at home. We have to go to TAMU...they’re both brutal schedules.

They have breaks though, they don't line up a bunch of teams right next to each other that are powerhouses.

They open with a cupcake, play Clemson, then play another cupcake, then play Auburn, then play another cupcake (arkansas), then get a bye week, then play Bama, then play Ole Miss (who is not that good this season), the Mississippi State (who probably the 2nd worst team in the SEC West), then play a cupcake, and then finish with a tough streak against us, UGA, and LSU.

They play tough teams, but at least they're not lining up 5 tough games in a row like we are. We have a 5 game stretch of Bama, Mizzou, Kentucky, UGA, and Florida. That is hands down the most brutal 5 game stretch i've ever seen. All top 15 teams.

I mean shit, if we haven't had a top 25 win in 3 years, and we play a 5 game stretch of all top 25 teams, if we don't walk out of there with at least one win, that's going to be very sad.

This is definitely going to be the year we get it done.

Biggest key is we have to avoid injuries. We simply don’t have the quality depth to have players start dropping. Hopefully we can mix in enough backups to somewhat rest some of the starters for some plays.

    We’re getting there....not there yet.
