Which of these two solos is better? They are both AMAZING in their own way:
Boston, "Don't Look Back" (Tom Scholz) starts around 2:34 - > 3:49
VS Queen, "Killer Queen" (Brian May) - starts around 1:26 -> 2:04

I chose Brian May but neither are bad choices.

I think the Brian May solo is pretty much perfect. Not one single flaw in there, it just fits

Queen on this one.
Boston put out some good tunes, but I just never got way into them.

When in doubt, Brian May is the answer.

As much as I love Boston and Scholz (who doesn't love a guitar opera) I have to go with May. Brian May, in public circles, IMO, is one of the most underrated guitarists in RnR.

I never found it in my heart to like Boston or that one song.
They were the original Nickleback.

Brian May for a number of reasons. One being that tone. No one drives a VOX AC30 quite like May does.
