What is everyone looking forward too?

-Spurrier talking about how it seems that new leaders seem to be asserting themselves, and stepping up.

-players are in great shape and guys we had concerns about seem to be taking things more seriously.

-Dylan Thompson didn't throw an incompletion all day.(okay probably not gonna happen, but I would still like to hear that he did good).

-oh yeah, and of course the famous Spurticus reports.

I'm not pessimistic about the team...I'm pessimistic about the conversations people have on cockytalk regarding spring practice. And the fact is everyone must love those discussion points because that is all everyone will discuss.

What I am interested in reading about are how into practice new players look, what our LB will look like in the Fall, how the redshirted OL are doing, and if from somewhere on campus a field goal kicker can be found.

What most will talk about is how Dylan is doing and if Noso looks half way decent then he will become the focus, which WR caught the long pass, and if someone makes a play longer than 50 yards he will become our new homerun threat in the fall.

I've never big on spring ball (it is glorified practice, and you virtually get NOTHING out of practice. (If O does good, is D bad? And vice-versa).

Spring ball is just to see individuals put themselves in position for fall camp.

THe news I'm looking forward to...nobody getting hurt and having to miss a season.

The epitome of spring football is Taquy Muhammed and DeAngelo Smith...Muhammed LIT UP a spring game and did NOTHING.
DeAngelo is going down that same path if he doesn't do something this year.

Don't get hurt and hope the guys learn something this spring...that is about all I take away from spring ball.
