South Carolina (17-3) is back in action on Tuesday night traveling to Charleston, S.C. for a non-conference contest with The Citadel (14-7). First pitch at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park is set for 7 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Gamecock Radio Network from IMG College including flagship station, 107.5 FM, "The Game." Live audio broadcast is available at GamecocksOnline.com.

It is called a "stress reaction"...I've heard it being compared to tennis elbow...

Basically is severe inflammation. Needs to rest and stretch his elbow and shoulder, use of modalities like ultrasound, TENS, soft tissue mobilization (massage), etc. Can linger a while if severe enough...

Supposed to have MRI today or tommorow. I think the trainers have a good feeling that he will be back soon. I dont think it will be this weekend but maybe next.

Perhaps we're going to do a pre-determined split, only use him 3 innings and then sit him. He could still be good to go Sunday possibly.

Yep, Wynkoop is only expected to go no more than three innings as he's being strongly considered for the #3 spot in the weekend rotation due to Holmes' continued struggles. GCC said Holmes may pitch some tonight too.

Come join the Charleston County Gamecock Club at Joe Riley Park at 5:30pm (first pitch at 7pm) for the South Carolina Baseball game vs The Citadel. Admission to our private area is $15 for adults and $5 for children. The price includes all you can eat burgers and hot dogs and the ability to purchase beer. ***We will be in the only area of the park selling beer at this event!*** As usual, we will be doing a split the kitty as well as a raffle for an autographed baseball from Coach Holbrook and an autographed item from Coach Spurrier.
