Class AA playoffs

here are the matchups:

Palmetto at Abbeville
Newberry at Keenan
Crescent at Woodruff
Columbia at Batesburg-Leesville
Eau Claire at Strom Thurmond
Emerald at Broome
Mid-Carolina at Central
Chesnee at Pendleton

Bishop England at Silver Bluff
Waccamaw at Cheraw
Hampton at Burke
Mullins at Manning
Marion at Timberland
Edisto at Woodland
Hanahan at Dillon
Cane Bay at Ridgeland

how do yall see AA shaping up...I would have to say that Timberland and Dillon are probably the favorites in the lowerstate with Woodruff, Abbeville, and Central being the most likely to come out of the upperstate

If we do meet T-Land again I hope our recent trend continues. We have played them three times and are 3-0 against them. Two of the three wins came against them when they were 13-0

one thing will be different this year though...the Wolves will be travelling to your home turf. The last two battles between the Wolves and Dillon were epic (especially last years lower state title game). one thing is for sure, if both teams make it that far it will be another great game

by the way please put it on Hanahan this week...I don't really think they will give Dillon much of a problem

Yeah, they get to come to D-town finally. I was thinking the other day that if we play and Timberland does beat us, atleast we dont have to make that drive again. It feels like it takes thirty minutes to get to their school after you turn onto the road in front of it

yep that is a long drive down from Dillon...they built the school in the worst possible place trying to please (as much as possible) all of the different communities being effected by it...I know when I was in school we had kids that had to spend over an hour on the bus coming from the Cainhoy area to school every day.

this year's T-land team is a lot different from teams in the past. Last year everyone knew who was getting the ball when it really mattered...without Rockarius King this season the Wolves have had to find other options. Also missing guys like Quinton Washington, Aldrick Fordham, and Storm Moore this years team is a lot smaller but a LOT quicker. After seeing them in the spring I didn't think there was any way they would be 10-0...I actually didnt even think they would win the region this year. The coaching staff has done a great job...QB Cody Craig has earned his spot on the Shrine Bowl roster and the team as a whole plays with all heart and never quits...I am just hoping they can continue it through the end of the day on Dec. 5

they are the #1 seed from their region...they have a home game in the first round and should they win they will also host the second round...if they make it to the 3rd round they would have to travel to Central (if they make it that far, if they dont then ST would host the 3rd round as well)...not really sure about the upperstate game though

All three meetings actually have been in Timberland. I was on the 2004 team that beat Timberland 27-13 down there. Coldest game I ever played in and the wet field conditions didn't help either.

you are right...I meant that all three had been at T-land. was 04 the year that yall had that RB that ran for over 300 yards against us? wet conditions...haha thats pretty much all you get at Timberland...guess that is what happens when you build a school in the middle of a swamp. last years game was pretty dang cold too

Yeah cause I started on the OL that night. I was really surprised we ran the ball that well, but our RB had run for over 300 yards twice that season. Last year was cold too. The drive down there in 2004 felt like it took forever, maybe it was just the nerves. They just need to cut all of the trees down beside the road so you can see the lights. Or at least have a big sign leading to the stadium. Tough to find if you have never been there.
