After a disappointing loss to Tenn I kinda was on the defensive end and what not. Still stand by what I said however. I have taken this in prospective and think that we will beat ARK by allot tomorrow. I think the players have allot to prove being what they took from the media and fans this past week. Look for allot better game tomorrow. Go cocks. Anybody else wanna chime in?

I think the Gamecocks will have costly turnovers and will not be able to stop Arky's running game. The penalties will kill any drive we have.

I see a loss but I hope I am wrong.

I think we win by 10 or 14. Your right, the players and coaches have alot to prove after that loss and after all that was said from the fans. This is the "NEW CAROLINA" and i believe that to the core. All the nay sayers will be real surprised come saturday night!!! GO COCKS!!!

I am probably misreading your tone but I am not a complete idiot...I have heard of Mallet.

The reson I believe Arky will use their running game against us is because we have one of the worst rushing defense ratings in the nation and a top ten pass defense.

I agree somewhat.

I'll start by saying, like I've said since Sunday, we're going to slaughter Arky.

But we cannot stop the run. Never have against SC State, UK, whoever, it doesn't matter if the team has an Ingram or not, we just can't seem to stop the run. However, I think we figure it out and stop Arky's running attack, but there's where I also get worried...because it is hard for a defense to totally shut down an offense, so you could say we might try a bend but don't break approach with the run game, because it is essential with Petrino and Mallet that we at least shut down the passing game somewhat, and without Culliver, criticize him if you will, one of our best guys on D, it's cause for concern. So, it should be interesting to see what happens. I really wish EJ would bring the heat sooner and more often, but he's smarter than I am at coaching a D, so there you go...and I wish when a ball hits our dudes in the mits they hold on to it. We NEED turnovers.

It should be a real interesting game, I know if our guys give it all they got there is no way we can lose to this Arky team, but more then offense or defense, with all the talk, I just want to see our guys mentality and how they're handling all this "late season" stuff...again, if anyone is going to the game, please take a boombox with sandstorm on a cd and sit behind our bench...

Depends on how much improvement is shown in the Arky game before I can really say how different this year will be from previous years.

Right now we are sticking to the script. Lets enjoy this game and worry about Florida on monday...
