your quote "So why don't you stop trying to rub salt in his wound and go back to kicking puppies or pulling chairs out from under old people or whatever you were doing before you came on here demanding restitution from 20 year kid you are not personally acquainted with, but only watch with a bag a Doritos in your lap once a we for a few months." close enough but the fact is you can put the apology the same place as i told you to put the doritos! |

I've been reading about CC all week on many boards and the fans have me more puzzled than he does. Today its "leave the KID alone", and last week it was "these are MEN playing football, not KIDS". None of you care anymore about that young man as a person than you do each other. The insults you sling at each other show all of your maturity levels. And your use of the english language or lack there of is really telling. Do you guys know anything other than bad language. I thought this was a serious Gamecock football message board. My mistake. Yea, I know, leave it I don't like it. Again, grow up people.
As far as the situation with CC is concerned I will have to agree with those that think the Coach did what he had to do. How many of you would let a young man his age get away with what he has "reported to have done". If he was a walk-on, you guys would all say "kick him off the team and make an example of him". Respecting the coaches and the "team" must be a first if they are ever going to be successful. And remember that football is a team sport and if a player can't respect his coaches when they are trying to help him succeed, then I'm with the poster that said "show him the door". Good luck tomorrow boys........ |

His butt should be kicked off the team. Walking out during practice means hes a quitter and scholly should be yanked imo. Same ole Carolina.

![]() I know this sounds harsh but I have to agree with ya SC House! I've been reading all these comments and all y'all folks gettin' riled up! Sheesh! Chill out gang! Obviously, Culliver needed to be disciplined. I know most times Coach will say it's a team matter and we are handling it internally but apparently word got out so he addressed it. No special treatment for any player, blue chipper or not. If y'all recall, Holtz wasn't so strict on the boys and the team bout went crazy. How many times did Squeaky make very poor decisions and yet Holtz made sure he was in the game??? Demetrius? I like the current coaches decision on this. This is a life lesson and hopefully Culliver will not only become a more disciplined player but a better person. Kid's a great player but he's got attitude problems apparently. Sit him down. And don't give me this passion crap!!! Oh that's bound to happen. He's passionate about the game. He just wants to win. Hahahahahahaha! What a JOKE!!!!!! You're the same people who say it's ok for Serena Williams to lose it on a ref and tell the ref where she can shove a tennis ball. You have got to be flippin' kiddin' me!!!! That's a JOKE!!! Michael Jordan never backtalked his coaches in all his days of playin' or threatened referees but the man had PASSION! So don't come on here and tell me Culliver has PASSION cause he hurt his shoulder, stays in the game and makes half-ass tackles, and then starts telling the coaches what position he will play or he is leaving practice and that means he's PASSIONATE!!! That's ridiculous!!! YOU ARE ALL CRAZIER THAN A SPRAYED ROACH!!!! As to the hurt thing, tell 'em you're hurt and get off the field until you're healed. How hard is this? HELLO!!!! Ding Ding Ding Ding!!! You aren't flying thru the air and knocking people out so of course Coach is gonna question your commitment and lack of enthusiasm. Why? You've done it every other game! Why suddenly when we go to UT would you start checking up and let guys throw you around??? OOOOOOOHHHHHHH you're hurt!!!! Well then that means you're not the best player on the field. YOU are now hurting US, Culliver!!!! Get someone in there who can go full speed! And why the hell are all y'all down on Bryce Sherman? Man is a speed demon! Give him a chance while Culliver heals! If Culliver is as good as he thinks he is, he'll have his job back in no time! How difficult is this??? And we all want to bash each other and call each other names??? Culliver is wrong. Coaches are disciplining him. End of story. And he's hurt. Get healed up. Get your head back on straight. And get back into the game. You're a great player and we need you in the game. BUT....I need a team player and not a loose cannon who whines when coach doesn't let him have what he wants. If theres a cancer in the clubhouse, Cut it out! Sit him down!! It's just that simple, folks! Hollywood's Golden Nugget of the Day: DON'T REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR!!!! ![]() Let's get together and get ready for Ark-Kansas! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GAMECOCKS!!!!! ![]() |

What happens to CC is not your decisions so you if you are not happy about what the coaches decide to do, than too bad. They have a lot more facts on the matter than we do. There is reason why we pay COACHES to make COACHING decisions. Let them do their jobs. They have asked us to drop it, so why can't you all just drop it? |

This needed to happen. In case you haven't noticed, every year about this time the coaches lose control of this team. The effort level goes down the toilet. Attitudes like Culliver's have become a cancer to this team. He is a talented guy, but what do we gain from his behavior. Not a damn thing. But we sure do lose a lot. If he doesn't wanna play cos the coaches hurt his itty bitty feewings, boo freakin hoo. Get one of the younger guys some experience and let's continue to build on what looks to be a great program in the making.

If he's hurt he's hurt but if he was so badly hurt then why did he keep himself in the Tenn game? The Coaches know what they are doing. If he was hurt that bad they wouldn't have said whatever they said to him. Now I have to go back to what I and DUCE have been saying. If your not gonna give it your all then you should be removed no matter how much of a star you think you are! There are other players that are more then likely being looked over that would love to see time on the field.

My 2 cents.
-We may not know all the circumstances but the coaches took him out for a reason. Whatever it is he is currently going through can not be brought to the field. -EJ wants people to back off. He is saying this for a reason. Whatever is going on is being fixed. CC should be given the benefit of the doubt as he is an asset to the team. Sounds to me like the coaches have it under control.

It's sad to see a situation like this. Culliver IS a good football player. I'm sorry that he is hurt. Thanks to his great returns against UK, we got out alive. I am sure there is more to this than we know. Garcia busted his ribs up pretty good against Ole Miss, but kept on out there leading the troops. The next couple weeks, I noticed his passes were lacking zip, but he hung tough and made good plays and reads enough to put us in position to win. Cully, I don't know what's wrong. I tell you one thing, I believe the coaches are pushing the guys extra hard now after last week, what with all the nay-sayers saying yep here's typical South Carolina football. All I can say is I am a Gamecock through and through, and just cause Cully's having issues right now doesn't mean I don't support him. He's still one of us, and God willing, he'll get his head straight, heal up, and be ready to rock next week. Until then, GO COCKS!!! FIGHT WIN KICK A**!!!
