Anyone Considering Demand Media? (DMD)
First, there was DMD's assertion the money raised from the IPO would be used for acquisitions of additional web outlets.
Then comes the rumor DMD may be a target for acquisition by Google. Now comes the strange development of fewer titles and less projects for working freelancers. Finally, DMD announces the conclusion of the IPO stock after all options are sold. Stock is down from an initial high of $25 to around $21 midday today. |
