COLUMBIA, SC - University of South Carolina freshman safety Brison Williams has been suspended indefinitely from the football team, head coach Steve Spurrier announced today.
"Brison Williams has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the South Carolina football team," said Coach Spurrier.
Williams, a 5-10, 206-pounder from Warner Robins, Ga., played in eight games for the Gamecocks in 2011, recording 11 tackles.

For the record I am Brison Williams uncle.....Indefinetly in this case is one week..I will tell you guys this it wasn't for alcohol,drugs, or academics..He is doing fine in the classroom!!! But it has alot to do with respect....one thing he is gonna have to learn to do is respect others!!! he has to learn that you can voice an opinion and say whats on your mind without disrespecting coaches, teachers, or etc...So before some get on here speculating this or that...THERE IT IS...My nephew is a good kid, needs to learn to express his self better & don't ever walk away from a situation learn to express his self...he will be okay needs to stay focused!!! HE IS LIVING & LEARNING...THANKS U GUYS FOR THE CONCERN!!!
