then its the problem of never having money then suddenly having what seems to you to be an endless supply of it. just like the lottery folks who end up being broke. a lot of athletes arent thinking about what will i do 10 years down the line when im retired or im making a fraction of what i am now due to old age. they get used to living a certain lifestyle and when you no longer have the big contract to support it the rug, and the houses that the rugs are in get swept out from under you.
its a business move on his part though, doing his best to keep the creditors at bay so he can hold on to as much of his assets as possible. |
