No offense to the last few posters - but LESS IS BETTER. Thankfully I don't think USC would do anything on either side of the videoboard (temp or permanent) as it takes away from the visual effect of the videoboard itself.

Some of you must be like those people who feel it necessary to cover every wall in a room with photos. Sometimes simplicity is better. In the case of Willy B, the new board is just the perfect size. All the other stuff is unnecessary.

As per being one of the loudest places to play in the country - we ALREADY are and I'd expect the new video board and background to enhance that somewhat.

As per ads - expect tons (unfortunately). Envision the Wild Wings Gamecock call in show where EVERY freakin' sentence is followed by a sponsor.

"This Lattimore run is sponsored by Taco Bell - Run for the Border..."

"This shattering tackle by Clowney and Taylor is brought to you by 'Joey Pankake'..."

Videos will be great - the overload of commercials - not so much.

Always appreciate effort. The music was a little over the top for the subject matter, but I give it two thumbs up. You out in some effort to compile pics into a vid...but that just proves you love anything to do with USC.

Just heard there is going to be an issue with heat retention in the stadium. Not sure if its valid or not, but one of my good friends who sees alot of the construction guys said they didn't plan for the increase in temperatures. He even mentioned they are looking to some ways to get more air into the stadium.

To me this sounds a little hokey, but I dont know---I'm no engineer.

In my opinion, if they ever did anything like that, I'd find it unnecessary and awful-looking. The scoreboard will be fine just the way it is.

Definitely appreciate the effort. I'm at work and couldn't hear the sound, but it's nice to see them all put together in chronological order. I did think the commentary at the beginning was kind of hokey and then waiting to get through the commentary just to see the same photo again was kind of weird.

The screen is bigger. the over shape and mass? Not so much. I doubt there will be a noticeable difference between airflow now and airflow then.

I'm not sure of the size difference between this structure and the old one. However, I know this screen is like 3 or 4 times as large, which will produce much more heat. So even if the overall size is the exact same, the amount of residual heat increases.

I think the concern of the heat is the reduced wind and natural convection keeping the heat inside the stadium due to the size. Not south the screen itself generating heat.
