thinking about starting. i hear its a free to play game. is it one of those free games where they want you to spend real money to buy upgrades?
Started playing Tribes:Ascend b/c it was free only to learn you're at a big disadvantage if you dont spend real money on weapons/skills

Malphite is my BOY. Went 14-2-8 in my first match against actual players today. Really like him and how well he escapes.
