Default Mini packs?

Are they doing the thing this year where instead of the full season ticket package you get tickets to only 3 home games? I would love to go to all of them but don't have the time or money. I would like to go to UGA, ECU, and Mizzou but i doubt i could go to that many because of my damn job.

If they aren't doing it, do I just get single tickets from places like Ticketmaster and StubHub?

I can't imagine why they would discontinue the mini-packs, they've been pretty successful in recent years. But, they won't be available for awhile more. I don't think the season ticket renewal deadline has even passed. After that passes, they do the seat draw for new season seats...then start selling the rest as mini-packs and single game tickets.

I'm sure single gamers are available through those services, but more times than not (with the clear exception of rivalry games and other important matchups) tickets are available through the regular ticket office.

Season ticket renewal deadline ended just yesterday. The mini packs won't go on sell til August. The mini packs always include one "scrub" game, so don't expect to get three SEC games in a mini-pack. I would not expect ECU to be a mini-pack either, I would think UAB and Wofford would both be part of one mini-pack or the other.

Once the mini-packs pass their deadline, then GC members are given a right to single game tickets. After that deadline passes, if there are any tickets left for a game, the public can then buy them in late August.

I assume the 6 games in the 3 game packs will be Mizzou, ECU, UAB, UGA, Tennessee and Arky. Not sure how they will be split up, but it will be 2 SEC and 1 OOC.

In doing some looking around online yesterday I believe that the date range mini packs will be released is between the 1st and 5th of August based on information available from the last 2 years. I also agree with the above mentioned comment that ECU will not be included in a mini pack. With the draw of the new video board and having our home opener after we are hopefully 1-0 in conference play and the new farmers market along with other things, i think interest will be high enough to sell out without the use of mini packs. Those will be as mentioned a combination of 2 sec games and either UAB or Wofford as those will be the two games that the university will have the most difficult time selling

From what I was told when the GC called the other day was that more than likely the mini packs wont be available this year. If they do sell them the young lady told me UGA will not be included in any mini pack package.

yeah...i could see someone making a case for that. I know that the UGA game has the highest face value of any game this year at $70.00. Oh well, hopefully they release them. I am trying to attend multiple games this year as I finally have a job that allows me to since graduating from Carolina. The mini packs make things a little easier.

Don't matter the game...you'll always be able to get good seats for face or less. I always sit club or lower level and never pay over face. Takes a little work but worth it. Last year...$35 club seat on the 40 yard line at the Clemson game.

If I do go to any games this year (im sure yall know how work can be..) i may get them off Stub Hub/Ticketmaster. Thats what I did in the past.

I did it for the Troy game in 2010 and got great seats- section 9 row 30-something for a reasonable price. Any recommendations for games? 2-3 games is the most reasonable.

I can guarantee you that Georgia will not be included in either 3-game pack (if they still sale them this year).

Default Re: Mini packs?

Mini packs depend on season ticket sales. Apparently, season tickets were outstanding this year, so there probably won't be any mini packs. Ticketmaster is the official online ticket outlet for USC athletics. However, unless you are a member of the GCC(early access), buying tickets for the big games(UGA, ECU, Mizzou) through that source is difficult, and alot of times impossible. When I use online sites for tickets I try ticketmaster first. For "sold out" games, I try stub hub and razorgator. I have more success finding good seats on stub hub. I got 2 lower level, 20 yrd tickets on the USC sideline, to the Florida game last year for $150, total.

I called about a week ago and talked with a lady who confirmed most of the above. 3-game mini-packs will "probably" be offered but will not include Georgia. No one knows for sure until the season tickets sales are determined and the powers-that-be decide on the best way to sell the unsold seats. Also, "know one knows" (a week ago) how the packs will be packaged (other than the Georgia game will not be included). She also said to call back after August 1st. Lastly, you have to be a Gamecock club member to buy the 3-packs, if they are offered.

I'm going to guess that it will be as follows:

PACK#1: ECU, Mizzou, Wofford
PACK#2: UAB, Tennessee, Arkansas

That way there are two "big games" in each pack. Only if UGA was included, would they be able to have two SEC games in one pack. UGA not being included makes me wonder if it's sold out, or very few tickets left. It can not just be because it's a big game. 2010 had Alabama in one. Last year had Clemson and Auburn in mini packs. Guess we will have to wait and see.

They haven't sold singles to the Uga game yet. It can't sale out as they were still offering season tickets for sale as of last week. Probably will sale Uga singles to GC club members first, which will probably make it a quick sell out.

I don't think single game tickets are going to be a problem for the general public this year. Many more GCC members bought season tickets compared to previous years.

That's ok. Like I said earlier, many more GCC members bought season tickets this year. So you probably won't see these instances were GCC members buy up all the single game tickets too, since a lot of them already have season tickets.
