I think everyone knows what the OP is asking. Call it "worried", "anxious", "concerned", whatever... He wants to know which game do you think we are most likely to lose.

For all worried about UGA, think about it. What is the main reason UGA is so heavily favored? THEIR SCHEDULE. I think a lot of people forget that. Remember, Vanderbilt almost beat them last year, Mizzou is a toss up because they are new to a lot of sec teams, and the UGA-Florida game could be close. They could play an all fcs schedule one year, but if they didn't play 100%, they would still lose those games. USC is all in 100% this year, that's why I think a 1 loss season, if not an undefeated season, is easily attainable by this years football team.

For the past 3 years, our football program has taken another step upward and towards new "firsts" and greater success. Our team now has a new culture and mindset - winning and being amongst the best teams in the country. It has been a long and sometimes frustrating road, but Spurrier has built this program now (much like Ray built the baseball program).
I know that we did not win the SEC-E last year, but we were still the best team in the SEC-E as demonstrated by every stat and ranking. We could not control that thUGA was given the easiest schedule in many years. Our game against Auburn was on TV yesterday; I watched the end of it. Not only was time left on the clok when the game was over, but we should have won anyway. Our team improved the rest of last season in almost every area. This year, we will take another step upward with an 11-1 season and SEC CG game berth again. We won't lose to anyone that we should not lose to. We may even go 12-0 if we do not lose to LSU. I am confident that we are better than everyone on our schedule except possibly LSU, including Arky and thUGA. I expect us to hit both of those teams in the mouth early and often. This team is hungry! |

I am most worried about Vandy because 1. They will be emotionally charged for this game due to the fact they are hosting a nationally televised game - how often does that often for them? 2. Franklin is a pretty good coach 3. They are not a tune-up team - SEC athletes on both sides of the ball.
2nd runners up are Jawja and Clem-Tech. They will be out for blood. |

And we lost to Auburn last year... And a ton of our games were close last year... What is your point? You seem to think winning 11 games last season has made our team invincible... It's pretty funny.

1. Tennessee-Should be a much better offense, and team for that matter (barring injuries, hope that doesn't happen), and it's at the end of a BRUTAL stretch of games. If we only have one loss going in to this one, this game could very well determine how the last 1/3 of the season unfolds, particularly if that one loss wasn't to UGA.
2. Vanderbilt-but only slightly, and that's mainly because it's the first game of the year. I've asked people before-if the Vandy game wasn't on Thursday night to open the season, how would you feel about it then? I think Franklin is a good coach and Vandy will improve while he's there, but I just don't see them improving that much this year. I think this is game that maybe close for a half, but Carolina's depth and talent wears Vandy down in the second half. |

Worried only about the last game, because that will mean this special season is over and it is January and we will be eight months away from the next season.

I'm writing this up after voting, and before reading the other posts, so if anyone else has said this already... then they were right!!
I'm picking Florida of those given. Tennessee and Georgia are home games, so we should have that advantage going in. We have been really playing up our home turf lately, and I see it continuing this year. Both these teams have very good QBs and talented receiving corps, but a loud WBS should be another advantage. Neither team is set up to have a solid running game though. Georgia's best runner is now in Alabama and Tennessee doesn't know what a running back is if he isn't catching a pass out of the backfield. Defensively polar opposites, though. Georgia has a very stout D, which could mean a low scoring affair (though I thought the same last year, so you never know...). They have yet to stop our running game in two years, and I don't see them being able to do any better this year. Tennessee's defense should be better than last year, but not by enough to stop our offense. They are going to want to make this game a shootout, but they don't have enough defensive strength to keep us from methodically marching up and down the field. Vandy and Florida are on the road, so a different monster all together. Firstly, Vandy. Being the first game of the year can be a crap shoot. If you come out lackadaisical and have to play catch up, doing it in someone else's house is not the time to find yourself. Conversely, if (as I believe) our coaching staff has our guys ready to go, pumping on all cylinders, frothing at the mouth to hit someone... Vandy is going be crushed. Rogers could be the next big thing, but he is going to be sacrificial pig in the coming out party of Jadeveon Clowney. This game could set the nation on notice. They knew of him in his first year rotating in on passing downs, now they will know what a every down horror show we have in store for the rest of the season. Florida is my pick, but not for any real fear... the other three (Other is a silly option for a poll, FYI) just worry me less. Florida's D could be as good as Georgia's. They are young and talented. Their offense, however, is young and unproven. Learning a new scheme won't make them jump from horrible to average overnight (though... if they go out and punt on first down every play it might make for a better scoring option with their defense). If you had given an option for "None" I would have gone with that... I, honestly, can see us beating every team on our schedule. Arkansas, while talented offensively lost the key thing that had us scratching our heads for the past three years, an offensive mind to play chess with Spurrier. Clemson is Tennessee, with better players. Little to no D/running game, air it out and hope to score on every snap... not worried about Clemson. LSU is going to be our Magic Moment game. The game where people are going to sit up and say "These guys might be legit!!". Being at their house, and at night, adds to the magic. I've had these "special season" feelings before other seasons... where I think, "this is it, magic can happen." Then an injury or two reshapes my hopes into reality. But losing Lattimore last year and not collapsing showed me that we have a program that can absorb mishaps without falling apart. But, then, this time of year is always about that "anything can happen" feeling. I'm just going to enjoy it. |

I never understand why fans say "don't look past the next game" or things like that.
Why in the world should fans take it one game at a time. |

For some reason I have a bad feeling about Fla. The game is in the swamp and although they've had their problems, they recruit at a high level every year. They have the talent and they just haven't used it very well, but that team is always dangerous at home.

I don't understand why people are worried about UT. Is it the Bray-Hunter combo? If so, that's not enough. Bray has yet to put up his gaudy numbers against a real defense. Unless UT has gone out and recruited a ton of amazing players to fortify that defense, I don't see how they are a threat.

Championships are won, one game at a time.
If we start looking ahead, we forget where the f**k we're at. The most important game is the next game. The team needs to prepare for that, and it will all work out.
