Nope, but apparently you can volunteer to coach a national squad. Del Harris and Rod Strickland were assistant coaches and I'm pretty sure that they don't have any ties to the DR either. Weird how they make that exception for coaches and not players.

The team was really fun to watch last night against DR. Could see the them running almost any opponent, including Spain, out of the arena with the athleticism they can throw out there.

I am a LeBron hater normally but got to admit it's kind of fun pulling for him watching Team USA. Kind of like hating Cam Newton and now liking him since he's on the Panthers.... Or liking SOS when I used to hate his guts.

Apparently we had a close game with Argentina earlier today. Won by 6. But the replay is on ESPN2 if anyone's still up to watch it. Curious to see how closely they played us.

Argentina must have made a nice comeback. I'm watching it now and we're up 16 after the first quarter.

Single handedly brought down the team because he hated D'Antoni.

He's a terrific scorer but does not have nearly the same fundamentals as Love.
Love is just a better fundamentally sound basketball player. One of the if not the best passing big man, and even at his height can show he can hit the three. Also one of the best rebounders in the league. He's just a more efficient basketball player. (as shown from his PER this year which was 4 points higher than Melo)
Both don't play defense but who does anyway.

also you're comparing what he did do, to what he's doing now. Then yes he is, but I'm talking RIGHT now.
Love also was 4th in the league in scoring this year and is a double double machine.

Haven't seen any info on it yet. They would re-air a lot of the sports that play on the main NBC channel after midnight. But, this was on the NBC sports channel, so not sure.

Just a side note:

Team USA set records for most points score in a game (156), most scored in a half (78), most 3 pointers made (26), most field goals made (59) and highest field goal % (71%). Those are insane numbers.
