...in NCAA 13, we lose our opening two games against Vandy and ECU but then bounce back to go on a big win streak until a heartbreaking loss to Arkansas (10 to 7 on a game winning field goal). We then recoup to go on another win streak, including POUNDING Clemson 30 to 7, which puts us in the SEC Championship.

We meet (Are you ready for this?) #1 Texas A&M without Marcus Lattimore (out with Turf Toe). But not to worry, the Gamecocks beat the Aggies after FOUR OVERTIMES 30 to 24, led by Brandon Wilds with two rushing TDs and one receiving TD and 12 sacks by our D-line (including a school record 5 from Jerideau) to give us an SEC Championship and the Aggies their first conference loss.

THIS IS OUR DESTINY.

On a slightly different note, I stay away from threads when people go into details about their dream of attending a game.

But my problem there is that I do not like hearing about other people's dreams a majority of the time.

Most of them boil down to a non-newsworthy thing that never happened and makes little to no sense.

In my opinion, game dreams are much worse because you are gonna tell me about plays and outcomes that never happened and I cannot pretend to care enough to ask questions or make comments about it that would make sense in a regular sporting event context....like, "Why did they stay in man coverage when such and such did so and so?"...because the answer is the same as to why you were a riverboat gambler in a shootout with aliens in that other dream you told me about...Dreams!...Now in the shootout dream, I can would pobably ask questions because I kinda want to know what could possibly have happened next AND because now I am wondering how many female riverboat captains have there been and why you seem to want to be one...even if only subconciously...from there I learn a bit more about you as a person from the abstract...

You are 100% right. What can you say it's that time of the year where people are bored and post whatever the hell they feel like on the "Football" board. We can talk about video games, dreams, unicorns, leprechauns, last episode of The Bachelorette, favorite kind of kite, Great White shark attacks, Romney vs Obama (wait scratch that, since it's not PF), bubble butt injections, why Charlotte sucks, why Charlotte is great, and best of all who Dabo's daddy is.

Please to all on CT, yes I am a bit ornery this time of year (because I like you am in mega football withdrawal mode) and trust me I do try and refrain a lot of times. Sometimes I just had one drink too many and cannot help but to be an ass. AKA Team Yancey. Please don't take offence, you are not the first one to post a video game score, a random dream, etc. in the wrong forum. And you surely won't be the last. But for the sake of God please realize what the board would look like if everyone did the same as you.

OK so the Gamecocks would be six time defending National Champions based on my last six seasons of NCAA because I never save the game until I have beaten that said opponent in any given week. How's that for both a dream and a video game score? I have zero inclination to believe my dreams or scores have any bearing whatsoever on our actual team performance so please don't get your hopes up.

After all it's just a dream and a game.

08 was the worst year under spurrier for me.

07 was really fun for awhile. But 08 just started off bad and ended horrible.

Same here. We lost to Vandy in Nashville, started 1-2, got stomped by Clemson and in the bowl game. 09 was a little bit better but at least we beat clemson!

10 was the great. The rest is history.
