The NBA2K games the past two years have had the best "My Player" modes in the history of sports gaming IMO. Interested to see what they had/smooth over for this year's edition.

I think it is a much better game as well. Passing is a lot better and the LBs dont have 6ft verticals.

Little help here. Not very good at this game.

A Clemson friend is tearing me up on short yardage with this Stretch run play in their Playbook. The one run out of the Ace package with twin TE's to one side. Any suggestions on how to stop it?

I shouldn't tell you how to stop a Clemson team, but I will. You can try a couple different things: First, you could set up your defense to play the run to the left or right, whichever way you think he's running. This will make your defensive players crash to that side. You can also switch up schemes such as a 3-4 so you can have more LB's on the field to track the RB down. Lastly give him a dose of his own medicine when you get the ball. See if he can stop if and if he does then follow suit.

I like the classic hesiman mode. Started one with Charlie Ward, he's a stud. Doesn't hurt FSUs first two opponents are FCS teams, even on heisman mode I torched them.

Like I said I'm a fan boy and this is really the only game I play a lot (ok and NBA 2k series)
I would like for them to add FCS teams like the PS2 and Xbox versions had (I remember the year Jared Zebransky was on the cover those consoles had the actual teams, while 360 and PS3 had FCS SE, SW etc) it was fun doing a dynasty with App State and using Armnti Ewards

Ummm...what exactly did I do to you to elicit that response? You obviously have me confused for someone else.

All I did was point out an obvious flaw in the whole banning of an IP threat.

Trying to ban posters from an internet message board (by banning an IP or pretty much any other method) is really fighting a losing battle in this modern internet world with so many free proxies and anonymizers out there.

"Trolls" as you call them are just something folks have to deal with when participating on an internet message board...just the way it is. Ignoring them is the best course of action...then they have no reason to exist and will go away.

Just my two cents...next time you might want to make sure you know who you are talking to before "calling them out".

So how about that NCAA 13 game guys? I have been throwing passes like crazy and scoring these "touch downs" as you call them. It's great fun watching all the little football guys run up and down the field on my TV. Plus, there are a lot of bright colors and interesting shapes. I don't know much about these nintendo games the kids seem to be obsessed with these days but in my book it's a 10/10, definite must buy.

Was playing today online and one thing was pissing me off. People were squib kicking on every kick off because they could do it in a way that 90% the return would muff it and end up only getting to the 15.

I don't know how you do it, and don't really care how to do it, it is just stupid that it can be done so easily.

Outside of that, the game has been awesome.

funny you said that last thing.....b/c in this game you can almost complete a hail mary type pass almost every time if you know what play to run and who to throw it to lol

i also think its kinda easy to scramble with QB.....if you scout properly you will find TONS of aths out there that are QB size with mid 80s throw ratings and low 90s speed

also disappointed that EA still doesnt care to stop glitch plays.....i just did a season with Kent St in the big ten and had a mid 70s DE get 40 sacks in a year.....
