2-3 Scholarships Available

I'm reading all over twitter that we'll have 2-3 scholarships available, and Inabinet and Strickland are likely candidates. How did we go from "the numbers always work out" to "2-3 scholarships available?"

What abot Clifford? I heard he's still around and if there is still a scholly available he will get it, if not he will have to walk on.

i read that we were gonna try to serve the scholarship reduction early, but the ncaa may not allow that.

Clifford is still listed as on the team. I think he is already on scholarship.

Nope, he's been working out with the team all Summer. Spurrier said today that it looked like they will have a scholly available for him. He wasn't guarenteed one but if it turned out that there was one available he would get it. It looks like Seth Strickland will also receive one as well.

Yea, he's a walk on long snapper. He's a canidate as well.

I hear that Strickland is really good with helping the other quarterbacks and that Spurrier is encouragiing him to go into coaching.

So in other words Coach is saying, Football Playing is not for you seth, go into another profession, such as coaching lol

There are currently 5 QB including Clifford on scholarship.....there is 83 total with 16 seniors (9 starters). This number has been adjusted for those that did not qualify and transfers. The limit will be 82 for 2013 and 2014.....all this per GCC. Plus Marcus may or may not come out.

I heard big Byron Jerideau might need 2 scholly's this year because his massive biceps would likely exceed NCAA guidelines.

Yup an those scholarship QBs are of course, Shaw, Thompson, Clifford, McEvoy, and who is the 5th QB? its not stickland, and Im pretty sure Austin Hails isnt on scholly is he? so who is the 5th guy? Nosovitch?

No. I think he was trying to persuade him to trying coaching rather than law school.
