Marcus is so impressive as a person...

He's totally on board with the "running attack by committee" mentality instead of the much more typical "me first" mindset that you see from almost all of the other running backs in college and pro ranks.

I firmly believe that he understands that if football were not to work out, he could make a nice living working with kids in allied health or some other aspect and he would love it. He wouldn't make the same money, but he'd have just as much (if not more) impact.

There is no question that ML was the key to getting HBC to reinvest his time, energy and emotions into the South Carolina program instead of bailing on us (and he was close to bailing). It isn't that Marcus is that good (although he is), it's that Marcus is the kind of person we would all like to be, and he spreads positive energy like nothing I have ever seen.

Truly selfless leaders are so rare these days. Marcus is the exception.

I think a lot of it depends on how this season plays out and whether or not getting a degree is highest on his list. If we can win 11 or 12 games and look like a National Title contender for 2013 I think Lattimore may stay. That being said, the allure of the NFL money and uncertainty of when another injury is gonna pop up, I can see Marcus leaving...

I live in Florida. Let me tell you, you will never see a more classless fan base than Florida State. Miami is pretty aweful too, but you would be hard pressed to find a Miami fan who actually attended the University of Miami. They have a large band wagon following, which these days has been pretty small. The Gators are the easiest fan base to deal with among the big schools in the state. Plus having Spurrier makes it harder for Florida fans to dislike you. At least you only have to deal with FSU on special occassions.

If you're ever on the rivals message board that's all they talk about. They constantly post pics, gifs, videos of Lattimore getting hit. They constantly brag about their win against us in the Chick Fil-A bowl. They're always belittling us, talking about how we've never won the SEC, never won a national championship, and how we'll never be relevant in football. They live more in the past than Clemson.
