i've been watching the post practice interviews with Spurrier since practice has started and theres always that one guy (balding guy who asked Spurrier about suspending McEvoy) who is always in the picture right behind Steve shoving a recorder down his throat.. who is that? and am i the only one who'd like to punch him in the face?

Spurrier said that Adam Yates had a FG to make for a scholarship.....he had the team all go out on the field, and if Yates made the FG, he had a scholly for 1 year. He made it!! Spurrier said he got the idea of bringing everyone out from Urban Meyer during his time at UF....

I was wondering what went on there.
Aftrer the round of field goals, Spurrier blew the whistle to end the
practice, and everyone started for the exits, The team met at midfield
and talked for a few minutes. I was about to hit the exit myself, then
decided to watch a couple of rounds of what I thought was going to be
Sprints.... but the guys lined up at the 35 for one field goal, and when
it was kicked and went through the upright, the whole team exploded in
a loud cheer like they'd just made the game winner for the SEC title.
I couldn't see who kicked it because it came from the middle of the
crowd. I thought maybe they let one of the coaches boot it.

Glad to hear that Adam got the scholarship ! ... more than likely it was
the one that was freed up when Claudarius Sanders transfered.

I would rather punch Kornblut or K-Mac. Kornblut was hounding Spurrier about the Mcevoy arrest. Those two guys get on one little story and just pound it into the ground on the radio on a daily basis. K-Mac will stay on his high horse about the smallest issue for about a month straight.

Earlier this week but he had been contemplating it for awhile. He transferred to Murray State (Corey Addison transferred there) to seek more playing time. I think we will be solid at CB when everyone gets healthy.

Totally agree. The dude is obnoxious and seems to have an agenda to create controversy. I guess he perceives his role as a writer as more interesting if there is controversy.

I actually have no problem with Kornblut's questions. They are probing. However, it was Josh Kendall that was arguing with Spurrier about the punishment not Phil.

I feel like they both try to make a big controversy out of every small issue. I can literally turn the station for an hour an when I put it back on KMac will be saying the same thing over and over. I am just sick of hearing the dynamic duo go on an on about such a small story. The law Mcevoy was arrested for isn't even a law in this state.
