Any schollies freed up by transfers will probably go to walk ons once the season starts to fill the total scholly limit. Those may not be renewable for next year, though.

You mean, aside from how we have very family oriented atmosphere. Both coordinators have NFL experience. How we have a long history of excellence on the field. How we've had 3 Heisman Trophy winners and 2 National Championships. How our coach's are 2nd to none when it comes to recruiting. Yeah, I don't see how we recruit so well.

Honestly what makes it more family than any other college in America?

but didn't realize y'all were 10th in recruiting...I thought yall were top 5 or something rediculous like that which is why I questioned the overachieving. 10th is about right

Yep, the thing is both McEvoy and Sanders were underclassmen, so their scholarships would have been taken into consideration for the '13 and '14 classes as well, so while opening up their schollies may help with overall numbers for NCAA-imposed shortage if we were over-filled, if our coaches were doing their accounting right then we still have those 2 to fill with new prospects....

But you're right there's nothing we can do about it for this season as our class it's too late to add new players, so for this year alone give McEvoy's and Sanders' schollarships to deserving walk-ons....
