I haven't tried either of these, shall we say, techniques yet. However, he does show proof in his videos. Check it out. Just thought it was worth passing along.

No, those won't do anything but possibly hurt the speeds that you are getting.

I get my share my wireless signal from the apartment next door. I ran a speedtest and got a 5.89. I put on the wisk, and got an 11.21.
Seemed to work for me! |

So... Am I still cool looking if I tape a wisk to my iPhone?

I watched these, and I must say, I'm skeptical to say the least... especially the first one, how does wrapping a wire help with anything? It's insulted wire wrapped around insulated wire, how can that possibly increase flow of anything?

lol no. I just don't understand if the two wires aren't bare and touching, I just don't understand how it actually works! although I will say, the math didn't help me anyway. it was like he was speaking gibberish to me.

I tried this with using the method in the second video and it actually cut my speed in half. Went from around 17 to 8.

You can increase your wifi range (which, in term, can increase the transfer rate of your wireless connection) until you're blue in the face, but you're not "increasing your Internet speed for free."
Truth of the matter is, if you have, say, a full 54mbps (bits not bytes) you're still limited by your ISP's bandwidth. I second the "not sure if trolling or just stupid" post... ;) |
