Great news. I am assuming Surrat's ankle is good to go as well. A healthy dline will make all the difference in the Arky and clemtech games.

He is fine, just had a sprained ankle. Spurrier said the trainers usually make players wear a boot/crutches when they sprain their ankle to keep it stabilized and to keep weight off the foot.

I really hope Quarles is 100% and he isn't coming back too quickly. Something like a shoulder can have lingering effects and obviously he needs his upper body strength while battling in the trenches. I hope he is feeling 100% because we will really need him for the Clemsux game.

it was actually a fracture in one of his foot bones, and the one he had heals pretty fast. This was probably the best-timed bye-week we've ever had

I think Clowney has a bone bruise or stress fracture in his arch. That will likely still be painful for a while, but the layoff should help it heal.

yeah, clowneys ankle is pretty much crap. they will give him shots until the season is over and then do surgery.

Yeah, Clowney will just have to get pain shots until after the bowl game. It won't mess up or injure anything else by playing on it, but it will be painful.

It is not a sprain, it is a small foot fracture.

spurrier said shaw is still limping around and would not have played last saturday if there was a game...will evaluate later in the week if he can go...we should be able to beat arky and wofford without him

hope quarles is back. he was playing well. probably could have used him against ut. hopefully we got some rest and ready to play hard, and for marcus too.
