dont care for RR....he is supposed to be a D specialist and our D is still very suspect, most notably secondary

I don't understand why he even needs McDermott, RR should be the D coordinator.

Andrew Luck broke Cam's rookie single game passing record by one freaking yard.

Secondary has been especially terrible late in games. The last 4 games were all winnable, but we yielded on late drives in (I think) 3 of them. Last week it looked like the secondary just folded up on the last Bears drive - they threw to that same wideout like 3-4 times in a row. Nakamura coughed up the ATL game with a couple of blown coverages. Ryan's bomb from the 3 yard line was ridiculous.

Who do you guys think will be gone after this season, both coaching staff and players? Also, what position do you think the Panthers should take in the first round?

Rivera is definitely gone unless he runs the table the rest of the season. The new general manager is going to want a new coach.

I want us to draft the stud DT from Utah named Star something or other. If he is not on the board I would like for us to go after another quality interior d lineman or a good CB.

Our dline hasnt been all that bad. The pressure has been great lately. We desperately need some players in the secondary: another solid CB, but most importantly a safety to replace Nakamura and Martin. On the offensive side we definetely need some offensive lineman and maybe another go to reciever. We need to address the offensive line, secondary, then dline in the draft

Naka and Martin? We have Godfrey, who when healthy, is a very good safety. We need OL help and CB.. even though Thomas/Norman played great yesterday, we still need depth here to keep Capn at nickel

Seriously, WATCH the games. If you think our biggest problems are on D than you have no clue about football Since RR has taken the reins of the D, we have had lights out front seven. WE NEED OLINE HELP BY FAR THE MOST. I do agree on getting another CB, but our Dline is our best unit on the team

the DL is good at pass rush......its is horrible up the middle, you can gash us right up the middle with a strong running game
if you notice we have played with 3 DEs on the field alot, Johnson Hardy and Alexander its alot harder to find a beast at DT later in the draft than it is for CBs and WR.....is someone seriously gonna take a G at where we are drafting? b/c we set at LT and C, i think Bell is ok at RT tackle also our LB is the best unit on the field...Kuechly is a stud at MLB, when Davis hits ppl they go back....mostly better in the run game than pass game but i think his knee is contributing to that, and Anderson is ok...im not his biggest fan

heres what we have given up on the ground per game
TB 130 on 36 carries...couldnt stop them from bleeding the clock NO 163 on 27....Thomas went 110 on 9 carries NYG 129 on 29....we made Andre Brown look like a pro bowler ATL 121 on 19.....Turner went for season high 103 on 13 carries, his only other 100 yard game besides last night when he went 102 on 20 with a long of 43 Sea 98 on 35....actually a good showing vs one of the better RBs Dallas 85 on 31....looks good right? except their RB situation is really bad right now, Phillip Tanner carried half the load...i dont even know here he came from Chi 119 on 36....Forte was gashing us all day, avg 4.7 ypc...just think what they wouldve done if they had been up in the game Was 151 on 32....shouldve been alot worse but for some reason Morris only got 1 touch in the second half we are 20th in the league against the run at 119/gm.....every big back besides really beast mode killed us....keep in mind we are 13th vs the pass and its easier to find late CBs than a DT late

Pilares is out for the season.....looks like Joe Adams is finally gonna get some PT again
hate to hear about Pilares but im glad Adams will get to play again, i think he can be a big factor in returns and would like to see him get a chance at WR to see what he has there

These are the players I think need to be cut.
Jimmy Clausen - He's terrible and 3rd on the depth chart. He doesn't even dress for the games half the time. He's sitting on the sidelines listening to music. DeAngelo Williams - Yes, I think they should cut him. He hasn't done anything since 2009. He's unreliable. Sorry just my opinion. Armanti Edwards - 2 catches for 94 yards are his career numbers in 3 years. Are you serious? Time to go. Kealoha Pilares - 2 catches for 42 yards and 1 TD in 2 years. Not as bad as Edwards, but still pretty bad. He's decent on kickoffs, but I think Joe Adams can take over with no problem. Jon Beason - Love the guy, but he's constantly getting season ending injuries. Luke has impressed the hell out of him. I think he can take over for Beason. *For the draft, we need to focus on the O-line and cornerback position. WR's are okay, maybe grab one late, the same with a RB, DL looks okay, so is the LB's. But still would be good to grab one as well. Maybe grab a QB towards the end if they cut Jimmy. |

^ have you thought about cap penalties? b/c you cant cut DWill and Beason and survive those penalties....well and have any shot at turning it around in the next few years
and with how tight our cap space already is...its just better to keep jimmy clausen and let his contract run out next year i get ppl not liking what they see on the field....but to be a GM you have to think about finances not just performance
