Nothing will ever be better than the original.

Videos out. Doesn't even come close to the original. You start out with super cars, upgrading is completely unrealistic, it seems you can't fix up your car and customize it like you could in the 2005 game. You get cars by just parking beside them, and this is what I hate about new games, they are getting way too simple.
#1 Issue: Criterion. These guys have no business making NFS games, they make great Burnout games and they should stick with that. Getting points for smashing through billboards has no reason to be in a NFS game. Of course, the game is 60% centered around online play, so they didn't put much thought into the main storyline or gameplay for offline use. The time of fun, challenging, offline games is going away. Sad. |

The last great NFS game was the one with Brook Burke. Since then they've all been BLAH.
I just want a good racing game that I can COMPLETELY customize my car in ... is that too much to ask? |

That's what I loved about Most Wanted 2005, and NFS Underground. You can make your car look any way you want. You could make it look completely ridiculous if you wanted. Now you just get the stock version of the car.
The thing I loved about the mid 2000's NFS games was that you started out small, and had to earn the super cars. Now in this new game, you start out with an Aston Martin. |

I wish I could start out with an Aston Martin in real life.
