Heard Pastides talk about this tonight. They are trying to make it so Marcus will be on The Beast Board for the presentation.

Maybe they'll use Skype...ha.

Quick question- I find it strange that they put the banner up right now. Do you think they are assuming that Marcus will not return for another year to add to those numbers?

NO...this has nothing to do with him coming back or not...Spurrier has his name up but he's still coaching...

Nobama returns. Cute. It's been asked and answered. There is precedence of putting up the board during a career, and changing the numbers after the season.

we generally wait until the end of the season if im not mistaken, but with a bye week and marcus certain to not return this season, it makes sense to do it and it will fire up the fans.

Also, doing it this weekend fires up the fans for the SEC and doesn't steal all the thunder from the seniors next weekend.

I think they are gonna bring Marcus out like they did that Military dad on UGA night. He is already up and moving around,heck they could even bring him out in a wheel chair. Can you imagine the team and the crowd after that moment?

Why? He just had two major knee operations and our team doctors strongly told him he needs to stay off it. It would be too much hassel for him to come to the game. It's best for him to keep his leg stabalized and elevated rather than showing up at the game.
