Arkansas not only is poorly coached, but they have so many key injuries. Chris Gragg was without a doubt their 2nd best receiving target and he's been out. Kiero Small was one of the nation's top FBs and was very important to their running game. Small has been out most of the year for the Hogs and his loss is highly overlooked.

Yeah i know every team has injuries but our list is pretty crazy

Tyler wilson- 1 1/2 games
kiero small- season
backup FB kody walker- season
chris gragg- 5 games
LB alonzo highsmith- season
LB/DE tenarius wright- season
knile davis also missed last game and ronnie wingo and safety eric bennett have missed games as well...and WR brandon mitchell isnt playing while they look into his eligibility

I blame it on coaching...they dont even hit during practice

Yep, holding Knile Davis away from full contact during most of August was a mistake.

No contact in practice would explain the Hog's poor tackling.

Well pete roussel tweeted that he thinks it will be gary patterson. Others have been charlie strong, butch davis and tuberville. Anything would be better than JLS haha

I see this game being similar to the UT shootout. I don't think that Arky has quite as much offensive firepower as UT. Their defense seems to be a little better. I see it going something like this:

Gamecocks - 31
Hogs - 23

Yeah, I just saw the Gary Patterson stuff. That would be a fantastic hire for Arkansas. Great defensive mind and developer of talent.

That would probably be the best offseason hire made this year.

Our defense will destroy them. Ward wants to get the best of this offense & I think he's devised the perfect scheme to do so. It's not the same without Petrino but something tells me we will put together our best defensive effort of the year, therefore we won't need to pass as much, we can play conservative and run the ball a little bit. I say they get a FG early and maybe a late TD.

Arkansas will be playing for bowl eligibility and unless they have all but given up on the season they will give us everything they got. Spurrier is just 2-5 against the Hogs so I'm sure he would love to get a little pay back tomorrow. Wilson is as dangerous a QB as there is and like Bray should put up some good numbers between the 20's but I don't think they can score in the red zone. As long as our DB's don't leave guys wide open like they did against the Vols and give up those big scoring plays we will win this one handidly.
