If they left and we got a team with better ownership, I would be into. Isn't there a rich buy behind lowes or one of the guys who started SAS, who would be more into fielding a competitive team? The roster has been all messed up now and it will take 5 years to fix. Also a better mascot and less gay colors would be cool.

Carolina - 73,371 / 99.4%
Buffalo - 69,640 / 95.3%

The Panthers aren't going anywhere. Mayor Foxx and the City Council have expressed a desire to work with Jerry Richardson and the Panthers. Unless something has changed, Richardson has not approached the City yet.

They are about to do several million dollars worth of renovations to BofA Stadium. This is separate from the major renovations being discussed. It's not just paint- things like installing escalators. You don't do that to move out of town.

The Panthers will stay in Charlotte, you can be assured of that. Anything else you read is just a scare tactic.

I also find it interesting that there are more Panthers fans in SC. But maybe I'm biased since I live in Charlotte. That being said, I generally don't care for the NFL outside of the Panthers and to some extent the NFC South.

Here is an article about the upgrades to Bank of America Stadium from the Charlotte Business Journal. There are talks that the State of North Carolina may even throw in some money to make sure the Panthers stay.

Minnesota isn't going anywhere they finally agreed to build a new stadium in fact the same people who built the colts new stadium is in line to build it. The jags stadium is a pos and fan base is no longer loyal. Jags or Rams move but the Panthers are here to stay.

Why does there always have to be at least one jerk that wants to try and talk smack by calling the CAROLINA Panthers the "Charlotte" Panthers? It never fails. It's about as classy as Clemson fans talking trash really.

You live in South Carolina. The team you pull for chose not to name their team anything to do with the Carolinas. Jerry Richardson did choose to affiliate the team with both of the Carolinas, so he decided on the name CAROLINA Panthers. It's not our fault whichever team other fans like isn't considered the home team for the Carolinas. Get over it already.
