I love that kind of passion on a defense. Sometimes, that's the kind of thing that can get a crowd fired up, the team fired up, and put some fear into an opposing team. In that regard, a few penalty yards are pretty inconsequential. I just hope he doesn't get suspended again. That "illegal hit" was no worse than a couple of no calls I have seen placed on Connor. I didn't realize hitting someone below the helmet is illegal now, too.

It wasn't Carlos Thomas.....It was a home game and one of our DB's threw a punch and Spurrier immediately yanked them out of the game it was a couple of years back someone help me out here.

Chris Culliver threw a punch at Arkansas after a punt return and I'm pretty sure he was ejected for it.

that's not DJ. he is a player that's going to show you he's better than you on the field and let you know about it after the play is over. He's a defensive leader and isn't going to hurt his team by fighting. The defense feeds off his energy, which is what I love, you need a player like that on your team. It's not like he's a bad kid, he's never been in trouble off the field. he just plays with a lot of heart

DJ is not the type of guy to start a fight, or get a Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty even. I'm 100% sure he threw that ball in the stands because he was pissed about the iffy horse-collar call and the absolute BS helmet-to-helmet call on the two previous plays. Coach Ward said he'll be disciplined for it on Monday, and I'm sure DJ will gladly accept it. Sometimes you have to do things like that.

EDIT: Forgot to include that DJ will talk shit all day to you and let you know that you're getting crushed by him/USC, then back it up with his play. Some people can't see the difference between a trash-talker and a thug.

I don't think dj did that with bad intent. Probably was thinking"ahh s~!t" as soon as he threw it.

On the other hand, I've told all of my friends that if he wasn't on my favorite team I would hate that damned guy. But since he is, I freakin love him!
