Because if the other 3 stay undefeated they go to the Sugar Bowl regardless if they win the SEC and that means we have no chance of a BCS bid if the cards fall right.

If Bama loses the SEC will still get another BCS team.
Instead of sugar we will go to rose or fiesta.
Rose would be awesome

Rose bowl is Big 10 and Pac 12......How would we go there? And the odds of us getting a BCS bowl period are slim......We need a good amount of losses and alot of luck.

It's all who's eligible.

It's way too early to say anything.
But Bama losing doesn't kill our BCS chances because the conference is getting 2 BCS teams regardless
