The SOB should play defense, he is a better tackler than most of their D-line. I may not be correct, but I think the "tackle" in the the first quarter was only the second ,or third holding call against an opponent this year.

I'm not usually watching the line closely enough to pick out every holding call that goes unnoticed by officials, but #71 was absolutely egregious today for much of the game. I about lost my mind the first time he outright tackled Clowney. If the SEC has decided to not call holding, so be it, but they need to get better about flagging stunts like that. Receivers aren't the only players who are in danger of cheap shots.

Our boys were wing held all day (surprise!) and #71 is a piece of shit. Dirty player who got abused all day and tied to injure our players to slow them down. Definition of punk.

We saw it from our seats C2. Totally worthless player. We were pissed about it for a while. And the ref watched it happen!! Terrible.

No offense, but that's actually not bad. In fact, I'm rather certain they're taught to do that. It doesnt take a lot of time or effort for a DE (especially one of the caliber of JC) to get up and lay a hit on the QB. If the DE winds up on the ground, I'd get on top of him to keep him out of the play.

Yeah I saw him do it in the 2nd quarter. Play was a long way from those 2 and he tries to get Clowney pinned down, Clowney was able to get on top of him. Ref was right there and saw the whole thing and didn't do a thing about it. Can't blame DJ for being pissed about the refs today.

It's not terrible, but still wasn't necessary. He fell on him when he should have just held him down. Getting fallen on by a 300 pound lineman probably doesn't feel too good.
