What happens is UF loses to FSU and we beat Clemson and UGA loses to Bama? They can't use the H2H UF advantage over us because we beat UGA who beat them. Couldnt we get the sugar bowl?

Yes. We would then be the highest BCS ranked SEC team in the East. Also, if we win out, we would beat a top 10 Clemson team and I would think that would be a quality win to put us above LSU. So, Bama would go to the NC and we would get the at large bid for the Sugar Bowl.

HOWEVER!! If the score to the Bama does not change, I dk what will happen with Bama going to the NC... If they don't, they would go to the Sugar Bowl.

Forgot about that. But Idk if ND, KSU, and Oregon are all gonna stay undefeated. Something about the former two especially.

Would it help or hurt our chances of the Sugar Bowl if Alabama loses today?

I'm thinking help but i could be wrong.

I'd like to see AM win to shake up the BCS, but at the same time I don't want them to knock us out of the BCS at large consideration and send us back to the Outback, Cap 1, or Gator...

Well if y'all are correct & I have no reason to think different, it looks like we won't be going to a BCS game. Bama is about to go down! BTW I said outback bowl all along.

I wouldn't mind going to the capital one again since Alabama looks like they just might lose this. Gator or outback would be a disappointment.

An A&M win doesn't exactly shake up the BCS, just moves KState and Oregon down to 1 and 2. And ND screams about how they should be playing for the NC. Therefore, no SEC team plays for the championship and we get to watch a lousy title game.

Plus, with A&M winning we get to hear all the Big 12 fans rain crap down upon the SEC about how A&M couldn't win there, but now they beat an apparently unbeatable Bama team, the SEC's unquestionable best team this year.

It's a pipe dream we were ever going to the Sugar Bowl.

If Bama loses, they will go to the Sugar. Florida if they win out they will go to the Cap 1...Georgia the Outback and so on down the line.
