Some type of hybrid offense. I don't think they use the option as many times as they used to.

Based on experience against them and others like them, it will take our D about a quarter and a half to figure out what they're doing and stop it consistently But we need to score when we get a chance because their drives tend to be long.

It's the wing-bone. I wrote a blog post about Wofford's offense at the link. They still use pretty much the same offense now.

I watched them play live against Samford in Birmingham last weekend. Good friends of mine have a son that plays on the OL for Samford. Wofford ran the ball about 75% of the time and only went to the air on long (10 yards or more) yardage situations. They are not very good in the passing game, although they were able to connect on a few key plays.

Overall, if we contain the run and pressure the QB with our DL, it should be a 50 something to about 10 victory with lots of opportunity for our 2nd team to get reps. Samford won the game against them in double OT. It was one of the most exciting games I have seen this year and a huge victory for the Bulldogs.

They run the wing bone, but also mix in other formations as I mentioned earlier. I've been to every game.
