Stadium Renovation!

Once the outside of the Brice gets a facelift just focus on bathrooms and concessions. Maybe add some more garnet here and there but the Brice has never looked better.

I expect that those type of stadium improvements are coming. They have improved the locker rooms and two major parking areas. Next will likely be the old parking area adjacent to the stadium itself. The AD can fund these improvements, but there is a capacity of what can be funded each year. My guess is in the next 2-3 years we will see a true stadium upgrade.

Carolina has a $1 billion capital campaign going on, so you never know what a random donor may give...

Improve the concourse and restroom areas first. That's really the only area I would say we are lagging behind in right now. Then just gradually continue to upgrade. The area around the stadium being the next object of focus.

Something minor that just gets on my nerves is that the garnet wrapping/paint on the ramps looks so unfinished the way it just stops. If they completely covered the ramps in garnet it would really seem to close the stadium in. I'm sure this would be pretty expensive though.

Yeah, I don't agree with the pressbox needing to be replaced. It's still relatively new in the scope of major stadium renovations.

The stadium is light years ahead of what it used to be not so long ago so let's not knock it. It's finally eye pleasing with color that it NEVER had before. We don't need to expand the seating, other priorities. We need an indoor practice facility. That would be number 1 on my list.

I was thinking the same thing. Where the crap would you put in a "water hole" even if you could at Williams-Brice? Can't help it the river runs by the baseball stadium and not past football.

We have got to get a big mass of water so I can go by boat. Now that would make The WB the greatest. Who needs bathrooms when you a river or lake out back?

All I was trying to do was show how nice of a stadium Baylor was getting. I didn't say tear town the Brice, I didn't say add more seats. I didn't say add a moak. All I said was I HOPE RAY continues to improve Williams Brice do we can stay ahead of the times. Times change & you have to change with it! I'm not a engineer or architect so I can't draw out my idea but it involves bricking the stadium in. See Bryant Denny & Tiger stadium.

Am I the only one bothered by the two big issues being bathrooms and concessions? I guess in a twisted sorta of way they are connected. As long as we don't confuse what we do when we visit them.

The river isn't far from W-B - they could dredge a canal from the Congaree up to the old Farmers Market area. :)
