So the SEC owns #4-#9...

I feel the most appropriate playoff system (if there was one) this year would be put the SEC in a royal rumble, and the last team standing would join the 3 unbeatens... Have there ever been 6 top 10 teams from 1 conference?

i think this is the best way to do it.. and have a 4 team playoff

Hate me, I know you guys will but, Clemson is better than #11to me. I know they have played no one but it takes a lot to do what Clemson does week in week out on offense the only down side to Clemson is if Boyd gets hurt the defense cannot keep them in games. This Clemson team scares me.

If Uf can beat FSU which I doubt.Then we smack Clemson and So Cal beats ND the BCS will have matchups of (like) #16 vs #12...
And smaller bowls like Cotton Bowl or Cap One with #5 vs #9..F'ing hilarious!!

That damn Florida game! Geez louise they aren't 30 points better than us. They aren't even better than us but they were that day and that is what counts, man oh man I wish we could play them again. We just beat ourselves that day and it still irks me from time to time, just like Auburn 2011.

What I hate is ND and Oregon play nobody any good except SoCal - and I hate to even think of pulling for SoCal and would love to see Kiffen squirm with a 4 loss season. I guess I'd settle for a ND loss if it would put them into a bowl against an SEC team. K State could lose to Texas, I guess, but it's highly doubtful.

Question for everyone talking about needing to jump teams. Does the ranking even matter? Aren't pooping the at large conference teams appointed? So they could pick whatever team they want

In terms of attractiveness for the BCS or any bowls, have to think at this point it's Bama, Texas A&M, LSU/UGA/1 loss Florida, SC in that order.

Both Bama and Ga can't play in a BCS game.....one has to lose in the SEC title game.

To say Oregon plays no one is just silly. IF Oregon goes undefeated and beats Stanford, SoCal, Oregon State, Arizona AND one of them again, they played a darn tough schedule. Not to mention Oregon had Kansas State scheduled until KState canceled on them.

Honestly have you watched a single Oregon game this year?

I think Texas gives K.State a run for the money but your right Oregon is really strong. I was thinking though, how many players turn out to be good in the NFL from Oregon? I can't think of any off top of my head.

I don't hate you, but Clemson should not even be in the top 20. They have played NO-ONE, with the exception of FSU and they are not the NC contender everyone though they would be.
