Rivals released their 2014 top 250. The SC kids are:

OL Donell Stanley (6.0)
LB Kevin Crosby (5.9)
LB Christian Miller (5.9)
WR Shaq Davidson (5.9)
DT Dexter Wideman (5.9)
TE Kalan Ritchie (5.8)
RB Jae'lon Oglesby (5.8) - Clemson commit
WR Blake Bone (5.8)

*A 5.8-6.0 rating = 4* player on rivals scale.

These are the rankings from 247 for 2014:

Overall it is going to be a strong year for talent in the state and our staff has positioned us well with most of the top kids early.

Thanks for the information. I am really excited about Stanley. He seems like a great kid and an awesome athlete. Wildman is very impressive as well. Crosby is also a beast and one I hope we get. Hope that we can do very strong instate. It is always fun to watch the instate guys play for us.

Where was Akia Booker listed. I've read he has a ton of talent but may have academic issues.

Our recruiting tactics have stayed consistent w/the one exception of us being more proactive w/the recruitment/camps of underclass kids (9th-11th grade).. The evaluation & recruitment of upcoming HS Sophomores & Jr's was our Achiles Heel in recruiting, seems like the staff has done a great job now in building relationships w/coaches/younger players & it looks to be getting us in the conversation earlier..

Akia is 2013.

Caleb Kinlaw (Goose Creek) will be a 4 star top 250 after hitting the combines/camps this coming spring and summer. Last year, a pulled hamstring prevented him from making the nike, ua and vto camps. But he attended UT and UNC camp late in the summer and they both offered. 247 has him rated the #1 RB in SC.

Who are they pulling besides the Smith kid? His Mom and Dad attended Clemson I believe so no surprise their. Carolina will likely dominate that list.

Not to change the subject to North Carolina, but I work in Hendorsonville, NC now and I met through a customer of ours the father of Nathan Dalton. He is a 2014 OL prospect and he is always telling me about their trips down to USC and Clemson to watch games and hang with the coaches. He sounds like a good kid. Has anybody heard anything about this kid?

Ricardo Hurley was possibly the WORST to ever play in college! I'd take Summers over him! And he sold DRUGS! lol

Hurley was hampered by a high ankle sprain and other injuries his entire career. We never got to see what he was really capable of.
