Bama losing really knocked us down in the bowl projections...

I would prefer Chick-Fil-A over Outback at this point. It's an easier trip and the last time I went to the Outback Bowl was that awful Iowa game.

I suppose the one argument you could make is that it's good for our guys to see the triple option in case we ever get matched up against Navy or GT in a bowl game or something.

I sure hope we are not bad enough to get stuck in a bowl game vs either of those teams.

I just want everyone to take a moment to contemplate this with me.

Just 10 years ago we were counting down the game hoping to be bowl eligible. Now we're complaining about the thought of doing poorly enough to end up in a bowl with GT or Navy. Hell it wasn't that long ago that we were playing in the pizza bowl.

Georgia Southern runs the same style offense as Wofford/Navy/GT, they're used to playing against it.

Wofford, GA Southern and App State would. I bet they could win 3-4 games in the ACC. Shoot maybe a couple more. Defense would be the issue, smaller guys but these schools get talented players that are skipped over by FBS schools and a lot of them could do well at FBS schools. Plus games like this are equal to a bowl game for them so they play with a chip on their shoulder not just for the money they receive, especially if they don't make the FCS playoffs.

I live in Spartanburg and i like wofford but they have had better teams. If we control Britenstein we win easily.

We will have to stop scheduling these lower level teams in the next few years. When the 4 team play off system starts in 2014 it will be based on rankings as to who makes the play off. Playing FCS teams will hurt in that way.
