For fans of rock music
Specifically, for fans of Yes, King Crimson, Rush, Kansas, Tool, Alice in Chains, Karnivool, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, and most other progressive rock bands, I present my band Sunwell. Here's a video we took during recording over the summer.
Please give it a listen. I know there are some music junkies on here and the band would love to get your feedback. Thanks! New Brookland was like the only venue I knew about.
That website does help, gdub. Thank you, sir. We are working on getting a show booked at ground zero in Spartanburg on December 7th, so if anyone is in that area, come out and enjoy the show!

Never was a big fan of "progressive rock" even in the 70s/80s. There
was some decent stuff out there though. My favorites were Genesis, Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Steely Dan. Manfred Mann had some stuff I liked as well. Just never got into Bands like Rush, Yes, King Crimson etc... As for this band though..... as new / modern rock goes, it's "listenable". Better than some of the stuff they're playing on the radio today and calling it Rock Music. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd rate it a 6.5

I never understood the major appeal of Rush, but I know they had / have a very large and loyal fanbase. A couple of their hits were good, but as far as just buying their albums / CDs and listening to their music, I just never "got it". Same with Yes, Kansas and those type bands. Hope these guys do well. Seems like a very talented band.
