BTW, they play across the street in the farmer's market before the game and it's a great experience...they line up on some kind of a rounded platform and the Coquettes are there. My daughter and I were on the front row of standing spectators and we were right in the middle and the sound was unbelieveable! Makes you appreciate the band! Also, they've changed up some of their marching cadences with the drums. Very cool.

I'm not in the band, just a music major with lots of friends in the band. It wouldn't surprise me if Phillips slowed the tempo on Go Carolina some, and I think there might be times that they make a point of playing it very slow, but I might just be imagining things.

The band is plenty louder than it was two years ago and getting louder every year. Last year tennessee's fans got on their boards after the game to complain that our band covered theirs up the entire game.

We had practiced that to make sure that it sounded clearer than it had been, but we still never hit the chord right. This was McKeithen's last year, I'm guessing she just hasn't brought it back much, if at all.
