I would really like to see Carolina play NCST if we had to pick an ACC team. Their QB has been sacked 29 times. Our d-line would put up crazy numbers.

The only reason that the triple option works some during the regular season is because teams only have one week to prep for it and it is so different that one week is not long enough to be fully prepared. You give a defense, especially a defense as talented as ours, a month to prep for that triple option and we will dismantle them. When you're talking bowl games, GT is the last team that anyone should be scared of.

The entire ACC is twit in bowl games. Va. tech in the Sugar Bowl. Clemson, who lost by the score of 70-33, earned their spot but how on earth did Va. Tech get to the Sugar Bowl? They lost to a nobody team at the start of the season and Clemson beat them twice.

How are we even going to get the Chick Fil-A bowl? That means we would have lose against Clemson right? I think we'll beat them, which means we'll most likely get the Gator or Outback bowl against either Michigan or Wisconsin. Now, if we lose to Clemson, then yeah we're probably going to get the CFA bowl. Right now, from the look's of it if we did get the CFA bowl it would be against NCST, GT, or Miami. GT will finish 6-6 so their out, Miami has a horrible fan base so their probably out, so that leaves NCST with a possible 7-5 record.

Beat Clemson: Gator Bowl - South Carolina vs Michigan/Northwestern/Wisconsin

Lose to Clemson - Chick Fil-A Bowl - South Carolina vs North Carolina State

Yeah, it's messed up.

Right now I'm just hoping the Outback isn't really as down on us as it seems. It would be the best of the three we're likely for (CFA, Outback, Gator).

Clemson is more important than the bowl game to me, but the postseason is still vital to our continued success.

Having the attitude that "bowl games don't matter" trickles down to the players and you see stinkers like our recent performances in the Outback and PapaJohns.com Bowls.

For a fan that made trips to both, the effort level was embarrassing. If the fans don't care, why should the players or coaches?

I think you really missed the glaring sign there in that projection. For Clemson to go to the Sugar, that means they are projecting them to beat us.
