Will Bruce be back after the Klemson Game?

Didn't he play bball last year after the FB regular season? Seems like I remember him beating Clemmons twice (FB and then BBall) in 8 days or something like that.

Yeah but this year he is staying with football til after th bowl game. Unless something has changed.

im pretty sure he'll stay with the football team until after the bowl game this year. somebody or possibly everybody decided it was better to stick with football rather than going back and forth during december.

If he wasn't so much a part of our offense and ST. I think they'd let him join the BBall team after Clemson. But he is a big part.

Martin has told/asked him to stay with the Football team until the season is finished and then join the bball team in Jan.

I hope Bruce plays more like Page later on this year (FTs, passing, control) and then becomes Page next year. We will need him badly next year, or this year if someone gets hurt.

Martin said he would not join the team until after the bowl game. Bruce said he has not talked to Martin about it but hopes he can join the team after the clemson game. This could go either way.

He doesnt need to do anything until the conclusion of our bowl season. I dont even like that he is playing basketball to begin with

I like basketball players who play the whole season. Would not bother me at all if he did not play basketball. You can't be your best at basketball when you don't play until mid-November, at the earliest.

I feel the same way. IMO, he should just focus on football. He's becoming a huge part of the offense and ST's. The way it's going, he's becoming our go to receiver. The kid deserves some time for himself and relax. No point jumping right into basketball after football. He's going to wear himself out. But of course, it's his decision not our's.

I don't think Bruce is going to play in the NFL or NBA so he should do what he enjoys.
