He may be the biggest piece (offensively speaking) in the championship puzzle. Hope we can get the o-line to rise up and gel at the same time. Don't get me wrong, the line is better but needs to be great! Go Cocks!!

He wouldn't say it, if he hadn't discussed it with coaches, kids don't just "expect" to redshirt, usually a coach talks to the kid about it before he signs.

I don't understand why you're so adamant about this. It's one thing to want Mitch to be great, it's another to insist that he will come in his freshman year and beat out a Senior who probably has the best all time winning percent for a starting QB at Carolina, and a guy who's already had a redshirt year that we have yet to see throw a football for us (who I also have pretty high expectations for).

I think Dylan may have a hell of a time keeping Mitch and Nosovitch from passing him on the depth chart after next year. I don't see any QB on our roster overtaking Shaw.
