A couple of thoughts on your post. First, according to some, Ohio State is leading for Barker, and second, have you forgotten about a certain highly-touted QB who is currently redshirting this year?

Anyway, I can't wait to get Mitch on Campus so the QB competition and depth will get even better.

If the stats posted for his final playoff game are correct - and my totals that I added up are also correct - then Connor finished the season 305 for 498 (61.2%) for 4,692 yds and 63 tds. Wakefield went 11-2 on the season. Connor averaged 360.9 ypg and 4.85 passing tds per game...

to his credit...Garner is one of the best teams in the State and usually competes for the title year in and year out. Wakefield has been a decent team this year, (mainly because Mitch is throwing 9 TDs a game and outscoring everyone) but they haven't been world beaters...not even the best team in the area. Leesville Rd (led by one of our recruits for next year Braxton Berrios) is undefeated and playing Garner in the quarter finals this weekend

He said that he has done his paperwork today, and is planning on redshirting next year. I hope that ends the discussion that he will be in the 2 deep next year.

This.... Garner and Butler are probably the 2 best teams in NC. Wakefield wasn't gonna beat either one of them. Like Carolina Pride said, Wakefield had to outscore pretty much every team they beat because their defense wasn't good. They had a good season(mainly because of Mitch) 11-2 isn't ever bad.
