Well, the time is almost here.....in the next 3-4 weeks. So punishment won't likely come till the Spring perhaps. Very interesting article discussing their thoughts to self-impose a post season ban. The problem is, they can't play in the ACC championship game, then impose a post season ban on themselves.

The NCAA, in the final stages of its investigation, is now doing an internal review of its findings. UM expects to be mailed its allegations by late November or December, barring an unforeseen delay.

Miami better impose a post season ban now because if they play the NCAA will completely destroy them. They need the death penalty because the same crap has been going on for nearly four decades, its not like its going to hurt football attendance anyway.

Then beat FSU (I know its unlikely).
Get an automatic BCS bowl.
And have to turn it down to a NCAA Bowl Ban.

That would be funny.....then taking this to the next level, the NCAA tells Miami they are making their punishment much worse because they didn't self impose a post season this year.

I think they should ban themselves from a bowl this year. Not like were any good this year. Next year might be a better year since we'll return our whole team.

Completely agree. They have only been relevant when they bought teams and allowed sub-par applicants into the school. Miami of the 80's is the source of all the low standards and pathetic on field behavior, that we witness today.
