His reaction time on the QB read and his strength stood out on that play. They were planning to catch him crashing inside and have some fun from the outside. Didn't work.

Against Wofford, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of tackles for loss and maybe a forced fumble. The option teams do a lot of ball handling, which opens the door to some bad pitches and eyes off the ball with a guy like Clowney, Taylor, or Quarles taking aim. Wofford likes to throw some on 3rd and long, so there might be a sack opportunity in there, especially up the middle. Their QB is a runner, but he's not terribly fast.

Those stats nowhere near tell the whole story. He disrupted the entire uga gameplan, and even against ut even though he only made the gamewinning sack/forced fumble he also hurried Bray the entire game except when they had two or three guys holdong him. If he could rush untouched like Jarvis Jones he would have 30 plus sacks.

I'm not saying he will, but I certainly think he can tie it. All clempson does is throw so I think he can probably get 3 against them. And 2 in the bowl game is possible.

Actually he is not supposed to....his job, on that play is to sell the run right with the idea that the DE will crash the play (biting on the fake to the RB). This is supposed to open it up for the QB to keep left but nobody expects a DE to be able to actually start crashing in and then turn on a dime and just swallow your QB. There are VERY FEW DE that will ever pull that off. Clowney is just Clowney.
