Quick look @ Morgan State for tomorrow

They are experienced and have versatile forwards and one 7'2'' giant, and unfortunately he doesn't look too terribly oafy. Their two losses to Holy Cross and ODU may reflect poor team chemistry, because have talented guys.

Most of their scoring comes from their swingmen, and those same guys can really rebound. At the risk of overgeneralizing, most of their roster features kids from gritty public schools, and at least one guy has face tattoos, LOL.

I expect a hard fight out there, I hope our frontcourt can hold up to their beef advantage. Coach Martin is no stranger to these kinds of matchups. It's MorgSt's first away game too. We need to probably push the tempo against them, because we may be outmatched in the halfcourt set. Smart ball movement could totally neutralize them though. Should be fun to watch.

You're right. Hopefully we will be smarter than them too. That works best against a rugged team like Morgan State. A few back door passes against an energetic defense really takes the wind out their sails. We need Eric Smith to take care of the rock and continue to make decent bounce passes in the paint, rather than just standing around at the top of the arc like he does occasionally.

I'm looking for Brenton to get 15-20 points in this one, by just being faster than his mark.
