Have a question out there for those that follow recruiting pretty closely (C2 and others).
I have noticed that about eight to ten of of the 2013 commitments are VERY outspoken when it comes to being excited about USC and playing football here. These eight to ten guys also have built a close relationship with each other already and "market" for USC pretty hard on twitter, etc. I don't remember the same level of enthusiasm from a group of recruits in the past. Do you think that is a fair statement or do you think it is just that the internet is changing year by year and that is the only real difference? Now, I do know that plenty of guys last year tweeted about committing to SC and had good things to say here and there once they committed. I remember that Mike Davis said a few things. But Connor Mitch, Devin Washington, Matt Rolin, Pharoh Cooper, Gerald Turner, and a few other guys really seem to have this "cohesiveness" built up already that I haven't seen in the past. So for those that really follow recruiting, would you say this year's class is different in that regard or is about the same each year and I just missed it? |

yeah, I don't know if it's just because of twitter being more available or what, but they do seem very cohesive and also seem to have really bought into the university which is cool to see

I would say it is about the same as the 2007 class when Quintin Richardson was the ring leader.
It was huge for USC to get Mitch, Rolin, and Washington in the boat early. But social media does have a lot to do with it.
