I don't think so. He still would have been just a tad too late. Looks like Murray got the ball thrown in the nick of time. However, that Clowney high jump is never boring to look at! What great athleticism.

It probably would have not been a sack, but Murray would have still taken a shot to remember.

Doesn't matter, the biggest sack he had all year was the one in the Tennessee game. That sack should go down in history as one the most important sacks in Gamecock football history, seriously. They should make a still photograph poster of that sack and hang it somewhere in the stadium or somewhere in the athletic department. That sack saved what could be back to back 11 win seasons and it was against a traditional power in Tennessee even though they are down this year.

On a related note, it bothers me that Clowney didn't get credited with a sack on Wilson last week. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't have been called a sack. It was a play-action pass, and Clowney read the fake and went after Wilson.
