We didn't sign a WR after he tried to commit. Moody was a DB so a completely different offer unless Davis wanted to play safety. We were going to take 3 WRs and had 4 very good WRs to choose from. Kwinton Smith beat him to the punch and he lost his spot.

Also before anyone asks why we didn't change how many WRs we were going to take all 4 WR prospects knew how many we were going to take. Davis decided to drag his feet while the other 3 saw the writing on the wall and jumped on board as quickly as possible.

I'm not jumping off a ledge but the kid can play no doubt. 15 catches tonight. He's having a nice freshman season. Playing in a Fedora O in a conference with no D I know but if you watch him you can tell he has skills.

Doesn't matter...with the way some on here and other boards were building him up he should have been able to go into a conference like the ACC and put up superhuman type numbers...but he hasn't.

He's another run of the mill WR with above average skills...nothing more, nothing less.

Sure wish our coaches could evaluate talent as well as this board can. The ACC has no freaking defense. We took the 3 WR's we wanted and who wanted to be Gamecocks. Virginia is 2-5 against the SEC. If you think based on his performance against a weak ACC defense he would be competitive in the SEC, you must be scared as hell of Tajh, Sammie and Nuke.
